Got a suspect note?
Check it, keep it, report it.
- Check more than one feature.Hold it to the light for the watermark and thread, tilt it for the colour shift, and feel the raised print. The Central Bank says a single check isn't enough.
- Don't pass it on.Keep the note, write down its serial number and denomination, and note who gave it to you.
- Report it.Call the CID Currency Counterfeit Bureau or go to your nearest police station.
